Overview
This highly professional wind speed anemometer is manufactured by one of Germany's most reputed sensor manufacturers. The anodised aluminium housing is extremely robust, and is designed to withstand the harshest environments. The sensor also requires very little maintenance and will remain within its original specification for many years.
The Wind Speed Pro has a very low starting threshold of only 0.5m/s, thanks to its large aluminum cups. Dual low-friction ball bearings ensure long service life and high accuracy. It will measure speeds of up to 200 km/h, and the rotating 3-cup unit is field replaceable.
To enable correct mounting of the sensor according to WMO requirements (on an Adcon pole with a diameter of 40mm) the unit is supplied with a 40cm long mounting arm. It is also supplied with a 2m Binder cable to connect to any Adcon telemetry unit.
