The proStation P sampling system is truly unique in that it utilises ultra-low power to minimise installed footprint and maximise security. By utilising the modular BD1 system, all components can be hot swapped including the telemetry control system, sensors, flow cells, and pumps. Furthermore, the modular design allows the user to redeploy the system purely as an in-river solution or as a covert surveillance tool.
Kiosk Operation Overview
- The Wildeye device triggers the system to start the process.
- The pump activates and begins filling the Proteus sensor with sample water.
- As the water fills the Proteus, any excess overflows to prevent overfilling.
- Once the Proteus is full, a second timer initiates.
- During this phase, the Proteus takes its reading of the water sample.
- After the reading is complete and the timer expires, the valve opens, allowing the sample water to drain.
- The pump reverses to flush out any remaining debris from the pipes, ensuring a clean system.
- Once the flush is complete, the system shuts down and awaits the next cycle.
- This entire process can be triggered remotely via the Wildeye system. Depending on your needs, the reading interval can be customised (e.g., 15 or 20-minute cycles), with the system timers automatically adjusting based on your settings, which can be controlled through our website.
