NEW AquaVent Water Level Logger

We are pleased to announce the latest addition to the Solinst family, introducing the new Solinst AquaVent Water Level Logger.

The new Aquavent is virtually maintenance free having utilised hydrophobic filters and permanent factory installed desiccants, including user replaceable wellhead batteries and custom designed durable vented cable. It features an accurate gauged sensor, temperature sensor and datalogger and is ideal for measurements in shallow groundwater and surface water applications up to 65 ft (20 m).

How does it work?

The AquaVent comprises of a gauged pressure transducer that is open to the atmosphere via a vented cable to the surface. Atmospheric pressure is applied to the transducer diaphragm, applying a cancellation effect to the barometric pressure. This produces a water level recording.

The Aquavent is compatible with all Solinst Levelogger Software and App, offering multiple logging options including linear, event and scheduled sampling. There is also the option of communicating through telemetry systems using MODBUS (RS-232/RS-485) or SDI-12 protocols. The AquaVent is available in ranges of 5, 10 and 20 metres.
