Overview

The brand new SITRANS FMS500 from Siemens is an electromagnetic flow meter designed for volume flow measurement of conductive liquids. The FMS500 is available with a choice of linings; an EPDM liner for drinking water applications requiring special approvals and NBR liner for general water/wastewater applications.

The FMS500 has no moving parts and can withstand constant flooding and direct burial, due to its rugged, fully welded design. This also allows it to stand up to a wide range of harsh chemicals found in water-based applications in many different industries.

High accuracy readings can be achieved in low flow conditions up to velocities of 10 m/s,

Combine with the SITRANS FMT020 transmitter for a complete flow meter system ideal for use in almost any water application. The transmitter is available in integral/compact or remote mount options.
