Overview
The new SITRANS FMT020 magnetic flow meter transmitter is a high-performance, durable, and intelligent solution, designed to deliver accurate and reliable flow measurement for conductive fluids across a wide range of process applications.
As the next-generation successor to the well-established MAG 5000 and MAG 6000 transmitter series, the FMT020 retains all the key features of its predecessors. This includes a flexible installation concept with a common housing, allowing for both compact and remote mounting options. Additionally, its modular design facilitates easy replacement of the transmitter, as well as the addition of communication modules or the Sensorprom memory unit for quick commissioning, immediate measurements, and data storage.
The FMT020 also offers advanced capabilities, including the simultaneous measurement of volumetric flow, flow velocity, and electrical conductivity. Enhanced diagnostic features, such as empty pipe monitoring and self-check functionality, are included, along with multi-functional input/output channels for process control and a unified operating concept, among other valuable features.
